Junior interview questionAsked at IBM · interview write-up
Sales has limited outreach capacity. Design a lead-scoring model that ranks incoming leads, from labels and features to evaluation against that limit.
Model answer
A lead is positive if it converted within a set window. Features: company data, source and engagement like visits and replies. Train a calibrated classifier, such as logistic regression or boosted trees, and rank by probability. If sales can call 100 a week, measure precision at 100 against the current process.
