Snowflake success criteria and rubrics questions
Model answer
Validate out of time, only on examples whose labels have matured. With 3% positives, report PR-AUC, not accuracy.
Calibrate with Platt or isotonic regression on a recent held-out window, check reliability curves and log loss, and undo any resampling first.
Then act when expected value is positive: with gain G from a true positive and cost C from a false positive, the threshold is C / (C + G). Better still, sweep thresholds for expected profit with confidence intervals under capacity limits. Until labels arrive, monitor score distributions.
Snowflake agents questions
Model answer
Working memory is the context window: task, recent turns, tool results. Session memory keeps the conversation plus a rolling summary. Long-term memory is episodic (past events), semantic (facts and preferences) and procedural (instructions and skills).
Writes: after a turn, an extraction step decides what's worth keeping, timestamps it and updates conflicting facts. Reads: retrieve by relevance, recency and importance, then fit the results into the prompt's budget.
Each question comes from a public interview write-up or video that names Snowflake; the answers are ours. Not affiliated with Snowflake.
